South Shore Cabinetry is a family owned and operated business located on South Vancouver Island. Our management team has over 35 years of experience and our work has won numerous C.A.R.E. Awards for cabinetry design, construction, and installation excellence.

We strive to build our cabinetry with the best quality materials available in our market. These materials limit toxins and our carbon footprint. They extend the lifetime of our cabinetry, allowing us to keep products out of the landfills and help to maintain our environment by reducing pollution and waste.

 Our design team will help you work with what you have or create something entirely new. Our first step is to meet with you at one of our showrooms or virtually to discuss your needs and to select a cabinet style. From here, we begin the process of designing your space. We will create plans, suggest colours and styles, and recommend the materials that will best suit the look you are trying to achieve. 

We can also suggest hardware solutions and innovations that will help you make the most efficient use of your space. Our goal is to make the cabinetry process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible. We custom build all of our cabinets with domestic, LEED certified, formaldehyde-free birch plywood. Our standard drawer slides are full extension soft-closing, and the hinges are integrated soft-closing. We have access to an endless array of organizational hardware and drawer inserts to make the most efficient use of your new storage.

We offer both bio-based and ultra-low VOC water base finishes. These products meet the requirements for LEED certification, and are UL certified to ensure compliance with nationally recognized safety and sustainability standards. Our company is dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint by actively pursuing technological advancement in finishing products and procedures. 

All finished products can be offered with an antimicrobial additive. This product protection continues for the life time of the specialized coating. In addition to the gained health benefits, there is also a greater level of durability. To further improve the lifetime of our finishes, we can offer a scratch-resistant and self-healing additive. Other custom finishes offered include mother of pearl, colour matched metallic paints and a 24k gold coating.
